unit doesn't get hot enough
the unit came with instructions for snow mobile application which only used one half of the high and low switch, but it had the resistor for using high and low but no instructions. i wired it for the high and low but the low is what high should be and high should be hotter. bottom line is it doesn't get hot enough, wish i had gotten another brand

This puppy is HOT
Ok I ordered this thumb warmer because I thought that it would probably just keep my thumb "warm" boy was I wrong "this puppy is HOT" and I mean hot it is to the point of being uncomfortable on your thumb. Now if you use it as I have (on a 4-wheeler) not a snowmobile as it was intended ( 0n the package) you should probable use thick gloves and it should be fine or put it on the front of your throttle and that should solve the problem. I highly recommend this product if your thumb is cold.

If you ride in the cold. They are a must
Went to WV and rode in late November. Temps is the 30's and 40's. We rode all day and I had to keep them on low most of the time or my hands would almost get to warm. They work great. I would have given them five stars but I totaled my atv on the second day of riding so I have no idea how long they would have lasted... They seemed well made and also get the thumb heater accessory.. Works great too.....
