The carbon filter insert goes unnoticed due to its design but it is effective at filtering both ingoing and outgoing air. Keeps dust and pollutants out while holding the scent of my breath in which is very useful in hunting. Great product for any outdoor use. Also use mine when working on carpentry or in a shop.
