I am on my 3rd Multitec in 3 years. Unfortunately I had two accidents in a 6 week period and both were major! First one was at 65 mph No damage to my head helmet was BAD! fortunately it was on wet grass. #2 was at 40 mph on slippery pavement and helmet was totalled and I didnt even have a headache! I would never use any helmet but Shoei Multitec ever again! Very comfortable in hot or cold weather! well vented and extremely comfortable. flip up face shield allows for conversations at redlights without removing helmet!

Sizing is off from other FLY helmets. I wear a M in a carbon and formula mx helmet but a L in this one. You get what you pay for and it does the job. Just dont expect the same quality found on FLY's more expensive helmet line.

i was really worried about buying this "cheap" helmet but could not be happier so far. it is plenty light, in fact lighter than my much more expensive KBC. the fit is nice and the front visor works really well. there is an ever so slight distortion, but it is so little that i don't even notice anymore. i also LOVE the fact that the visor goes all the way up, out of your field of view. it will fog up on cold mornings if your vents aren't open but keeps you nice and warm. wind buffeting has been greatly reduced due to the large air ports under the visor. once again, much better than my old "off-road" helmet. if this helmet lasts for any length of time i will change my rating and give it 5 stars!

Great quality. Mid level price. I love it. Inside doesn't break down like cheaper helmets. Feels solid. Lens seals well and doesn't fog. Excellent peripheral view.

this helmet is very well made! the cushioning has a superior feel to it compared to other helmets I've had. the face shield is CLEAR!! my other helmets all had some distortion to the shield, not this one, love it! also wearing sunglasses is no problem the cushioning actually accepts the frames very well. goggles fit no prob.. a bit pricey, but hey, it's your head...

It's ok I guess. Wind noise is a little high doesn't matter if the vents are open or closed. Definitely keep some super glue handy. I've had to reglue a couple peices of the bottom rubber back on and the magnet on the strap. Luckily the magnet and half the sticker over it got stuck to my mirror post instead of falling on the ground. You get what you pay for. Shield ratchets to multiple positions and "locks" in a slightly open position for good air. Doesn't seal perfectly when closed.
