  Great Shifting Characteristics

  I've used Maxima MTL, Silkolene, and Bel Ray Gear Saver. The maxima provided better shifitng characteristics in both my 2005 and 2006 YZ250 2-strokes. The others performed very well, but the maxima is slighly less expensive. Good product.

  Great Product But Expensive

  I have been using this since 2004 without any gearbox and/or clutch issues although the price has seemed to go up considerably compared to other top brands thru the years. I normally change it every 10 hrs or after a full weekends ride BUT now I have to increase the service interval time to offset the cost.

  This product is superior to the OEM Formula Plus gear oil. After running the Spectro 6 speed oil for 3K miles the gear oil was drained. I found no deposits on the magnetic drain plug.
