    Must Have!! Waaaaaay Better Than Aluminum!!

    I've now had this skid on for over 2000 miles of serious abuse and it still looks great. The main benefit of this material over aluminum is that it will allow you to glide over rocks that would normally stop you in your tracks with aluminum. Some folks are concerned about the 2 pc main skid design, but the way the two are attached and over lap, it's a non-issue. Buy this skid and never look back!

    These arrived as scheduled. Installed very easily. You do have to drill out the trailing arm hole a bit bigger on one of the mounting locations. Will need a 1/2" drill to do so. The hardware was all included and very stout. The bolts and nuts are rusting some after a few off road trips but I guess that's ok. A coated nut and bolt may have been more in order for the money. The guards are very well built and the plastic on the bottom has helped me slide over a few Kentucky,Tennessee, West Virginia, objects with very little sign of wear. They come with a nylon lock nut so I just snugged them up initially. I found they rattled some so we tightened them a bit more and that's fixed the rattle. Overall a great addition to the underside of my XP LE.

    Not to bad to install and a little heavy but much better than aluminum because it easily slides over rocks instead of scraping and getting caught up like aluminum. It also can take large hits and I don't have to worry about it.
