These things are tough. Average 100 track hours a year and these things hold up for 100 hours. Recommend taking to boot store to have them installed though.

Tech 8 Toe replacements
I love My Tech 8 boots, I do think the steel toe guards are a bit of a weak point especially the staple used to hold the top of the toe in place. I seem to always loose them. I'm going to try to use screws this time.

Take them to a professional cobbler. $20 later you have soles that will last as long as they did when you first bought your boots. I'll use this product and my local cobbler again and again.
