The straps on my knee braces irritated my skin causing discomofort. I eliminated the problem by wearing these under the braces. They should include these with the braces when they come from the manufacturer. Must have items!

Good price, they work pretty well
These are not what I'd call "plush" knee guards, so if that is what you after these aren't it. I wanted something minimal in size so they fit the bill. They offer the right amount of protection for me and have held up quite well to many rides.. I wash them often and they keep on going strong.

Good protection

Decent Knee Pads
For the money these are good knee pads. I've had mine for three seasons and they did what they are supposed to do, protect my knees. Both are cracked now down the middle from heavy impacts, but that is better than a cracked patella. In a perfect world, I would get the knee braces, but the price difference is too great. For those that complain about walking and kneeling, look at how much time you spend doing that as opposed to riding. I would rather have protection that comfort kneeling. Tighten the lower strap above the calf to keep them from sliding down. Good product.
