Adds Power
Big difference in power with powerlid on, not only greatly increases air flow but also adds another filter. Glue on velcro wore away quickly and in extreme heat lid warped but was easy to straigten back out, just set out in the heat again on flat surface.

MMM Clean air...
One TUFF filter that keeps out the dirt. The 2007 VCHSS Rattlesnake race was the test this past year. 2 Hours of pure, can't see 5 feet powder dust. I wish I had a twin on my face. I spit dirt for a week. I understand some riders had DNF's from filter failure. I have had this same filter for over a year and clean it almost every ride. It shows no sign of wear. This new one replaces another brand I had that was tearing apart. Now I have 2 twins, ha!

these seem like a good idea but with everything required to use one you can just service the air box off the bike and be 100% sure there is nothing left in the airbox or boot.good product,just not for me.

donaldson filters are used in the heavy equipment industry. they make catepillar filters. If caterpillar trusts them to protect a $350,000 engine so do I. Ive ran this setup for just about a year now in extremely dusty conditions. No dirt anywhere near the throttle body intake. Stock filter setup ruined my 09' rzr s motor in 1500 miles. rebuilt the motor and installed the ump kit, no problems.

Simple / Functional
My air filter was needing to be cleaned after every ride due to the location of the intake and it sucking in so much dirt. I was thinking about getting a $450 snorkel kit not for driving in deep water but to move the location of the air intake. These simple Outerwears solved my problem. A simple flick of these Outerwears and what ever dirt is stuck to them (next to none) falls right off and I'm back riding.

Twin Air Pre Oiled Power Flow Intake Replacement Filter

The only filter compatible to Power Flow System
You can't use other filters with the power flow system if you have that installed on your bike, since the system replaces your stock backfire screen with a special layer of foam inside this particular filter and comes with a new filter frame with no screen. I bought a new bike recently and ordered a no toil for a backup before really inspecting the new baby, only to find out it wasn't of any use to me, just FYI
