Maier Front Fender, Standard Style

Very bad fitting plastic
Purchased for a Z400. I was very dissapointed with the efit of this plastic. I have a custom grill that fit just fine with my stock plastic but with this new plastic I had to cut an inch off of the bottom of it so it would fit. I also have a large gap around my gas tank which was not there with the stock plastic. I purchased every piece of plastic new at the same time so you would think it would fit. Nothing lined up correctly. I will never buy Maier plastic again. Maier has totally different body lines to its plastic.

Not impressed
Fit on these fenders was good. You have to use the provided "L" bracket to mount them to your OEM fender mount. My biggest complaint is the finish on these fenders. They are dull. Not as glossy as OEM.

pretty good product. not as good as OEM but a great replacement. doesnt look too bad either ive had my maier fenders for 3 years now and the still are like new besides some scratches. no cracks or fading.

Not sure about them
I don't see how they could possibly help more air get to your radiators. When you get them installed the portion behind the forks blocks more space for the normal air flow than they could possibly be bringing in, but my bike hasn't changed in running temps whether I'm running fast trails, or slower tight single track. I personally think they are for looks and that is it.
