Avon distanzia tire.......
I got this rear tire to replace an identical tire that is still on my '06 XRL ( it came with a new set of Avons on it). They corner very securely,and I'm almost at 2K miles, with very little noticable wear. All other reviews I've found concur. I expect to run these tires for the life of this bike.

Avon Distanzia Dual Sport Front Motorcycle Tire

Rides well, Handles well.
I put this tire on my 1993 DR350S after burning up several dual sport tires that were more aimed to dirt riding. I have a few MX bikes, so I gave up on the dual sport part of this bike and made it more Supermotard to have better street manners. After riding a whole season on the tires, it show very little wear. The Distanzia grips well on my light machine and handles very well! I don't do much rain riding, so it's not fair to make any comments on that. I would recommend this tire to anyone looking to put a street tire on a dual purpose bike - the difference in the curves will amaze you!

Not as good as they say, not worth it.
I got this tire for my KLR650 because that's what everybody was saying handled the best and got the best mileage. I have gotten better mileage out of much cheaper tires under all the same conditions. The cheaper tires also handle and grip the same if not better than the Avon. I have run just about every tire out there for a KLR. It is not worth the price. I will never buy again. I will go back to Kenda 761s, Shinko 705, or try one of the few tires I have not yet tried.
