this is my 2nd replacement cable. If you dump your bike and the bars fall into soft dirt it puts pressure on the line where is screws into the master cylinder, the cable snaps where it screws into the cylinder leaving you with no clutch since the fluid drains out as the cable is dangling. I have no choice put to continue to buy this line since no one else makes a repacement that has ends on the cable that is not made out of pot metal! If the ends on the cable were made out of steel, the line would possibly bend, not brake when it gets an impact. I am surprised that no one has posted this issue. I plan to call Magura and complain. None of my friends are willing to put this on their race bikes because of this issue. They laugh at me every time they see me pushing the bike off the track.

The clutch arrived yesterday...no directions for my bike, not sure what to do with the bracket they sent. I managed to figure out how it was supposed to go on, and while it did have a decent clutch pull, the slave was sitting against the engine cylinder, and there was quite a bit of slack where the slave could probably fall out and I'd have no clutch until I put it back on. They say to shim it, but I think it should be ready to go for your bike. I've read more about them and hear they can leak and rattle off and it's not something I want to deal with during a race, so I'm returning it.
