This is a good product, but does not fit an XR 400 when fat bars are mounted. The adapter kit for the fat bars does not allow mounting of this product.

This Computer/ Gps was installed on a 07, KFX, 700, with a long list of mods, which for this review aren't important. This unit is well designed and if you are looking it you hae probaly aready read about the quailty of the product, so I won't waste your time with that, believe it, it is a well built unit. I believe it is more helpful to know where the issues are. For my bike mounting the unit is a bit of a problem due to the position of the factory dash. However, you can install it, or you take the option of removing the factory dash and install an after market dash from the same maker. The instructions for the install of the sensors is good. The instructions for the operation of the unit suck! The upside of this is that Trail Tech customer service more thatn makes up for this shortcoming. They are, in one word, excellent. They do a good job of filling in the gaps in the operator's manual. Due to the mods on my bike one of the sensors did not fit, radiator hose, the larger one is $29.00, they did not have a problem swapping the one in the kit for a larger one. Again great customer service. Bottom line Great unit with excellent support from the MFG.

It fit my Trail Tech Voyager GPS Computer perfectly and it houses the computer perfectly BUT it does not fit the 1 1/8" handlebars because the spacing is for the stock handle bar mounts.

I beleive this little speedo replaces the original endurance computer that put trailtech on the map. This unit is smaller, better made and just as easy to use. The mounting system is simple and really smart. I have a top mounted stabalizer, flex handlebars and a head light and this thing clears all of it with style. It doesn't have temp. and rpm or a gps but I have a gps I dont know how to use and my bike tells me when it's hot.

I just installed this computer to my 2000 xr 650r. Gotta say im pretty impressed. The mounting hardware is a little weak though. Some things to keep in mind: getting the thermocopel to fit into the radiator hose is quiet the trick. Use some kind of lube and it will help you out a ton. If you your bike doesn't have a onboard battery, no problem just tap into the bikes existing dc system. If your bike runs on ac pick up a four dollar full wave rectifier from radioshack and run off your ac system. If after you install the thermocopel unit your vapor doesn't register a temperature, don't freak out. It doesn't pick up a temp until about 100 F. Overall I rate this product excellent.
