Good piece of mind for me.
I ride in the rocks...alot. I put one on to ease the thought of the brake pedal being bent back to my swing arm. I had to drill the brake pedal to install this so be carefull and use a center punch first. Don't make it too tight or you won't be able to press the pedal down enough to actuate the brakes. I attached the other end to the frame/lower muffler mount on my YZ250.

unit doesn't get hot enough
the unit came with instructions for snow mobile application which only used one half of the high and low switch, but it had the resistor for using high and low but no instructions. i wired it for the high and low but the low is what high should be and high should be hotter. bottom line is it doesn't get hot enough, wish i had gotten another brand

This puppy is HOT
Ok I ordered this thumb warmer because I thought that it would probably just keep my thumb "warm" boy was I wrong "this puppy is HOT" and I mean hot it is to the point of being uncomfortable on your thumb. Now if you use it as I have (on a 4-wheeler) not a snowmobile as it was intended ( 0n the package) you should probable use thick gloves and it should be fine or put it on the front of your throttle and that should solve the problem. I highly recommend this product if your thumb is cold.

ASV F3 Series Pro Model Clutch Lever

I just Purchased and installed the ASV clutch, it looks great and the quick adjust is really smooth, but one flaw, when i tightened the lever to the actual bracket. IT STICKS. if it is more than finger tight at all, it will stick, so i have a loose clutch with lock tight. but its an easy fix.

You get what you pay for. Go for the ASV.
Broke the stock perch, messed around with a couple of cheap lever/perch combos. When you dump the bike a couple of times they either break, the adjuster quits working, and they just generally get trashed out. ASV is a quality product. It fit perfectly on my '05 CRF450R and has a nice feel. Hot start is easier to use than stock. Have used for 5 months, been through a few crashes, still looks and works great. No complaints at all.

Streamline Reflex Pro Clutch Lever/Perch Without Hot Start

Smooth Pull
The clutch perch has very good build quality, fit/finish, and smooth pull. Unfortunately the lever shape is horrible. Where your fingers wrap around the lever...it's very flat with no contour or radius which puts preassure points on your fingers. The lever is just plain uncomfortable, I returned the assembly after one ride. Streamline fixed their lever contour and now it feels great like a normal lever. They were standup guys that sent a corrected lever assembly free of charge. The ball bearing design is a signifacant improvement over stock and offers a smoother easier pull. Very good adjustablity, great product.
