I took a chance on this set of shinko's and i was somewhat disappointed. The price is great and i didn't expect too much but i only got 4000-5000 miles out of the front tire. I was forced to replace the front when it needed the rear because it only had 10-15% left on the sides. plenty of meat left in the center but the sides were gone and i don't beat on the bike. Rear life was better than expected though. Ok, getting down to it, wet traction leaves a little to be desired but it was ok. Dry (warm) traction was good, cold was expectantly worse. It all depends on how you ride, but the rear wore very evenly. My advise, don't expect a cheap set of tires to be wonderful. They are good for the price but if you can afford to spend a few extra dollars, I would.

Awesome tire... switched from stock bridgestones and these tires warm up in half the time and cornering greatly improved. I'm sold for the time being!

I have to say I tried these from reviews, I am glad I did. Rear I get 6k no funky tire were like dual compound's simple and true tire sticks to the road handles wet well and never had a flat or cut in the rubber, you will notice the harder feel but after 500 miles it will feel like home. I take these on forestry roads with my 2010 Triumph 1050 Tiger (not on the ATV*MC list) and not the tire for off road 180x55. Tried all the Dual compound and they are great but I don't race I do long distance touring and camp where I stop, tires are not cheap if you don't mount your own. Love these tires just try them and you decide.
