Outstanding DOT tire for all terrain

This is by far the best DOT off-road tire I have used. I have the 110/100-18 (heavy duty) on my XR400R. I run a lower pressure (11psi) because of the stiff sidewall. This tire grips really well in sand and mud, as well as hardpack, and doesn't wear too fast on asphalt and rocks. This tire provides better grip in soft terrain than any mid-hard tire I have used, DOT or not. I will definitely buy again.

    Excellent all-rounder

I just put the 80/100-21 front on my XR400R, running 12psi. After two long rides totalling 200mi on every surface imaginable, I can say that this is a great all-around tire. It grips well in mud and sand, but also provides good steering control and braking traction over rocks. I did one of the gnarliest rock trails in S-AZ yesterday, and none of the side knobs tore (the same ride tore off half the side knobs on a MX51 last year). Also, the tire showed very little wear from many highway miles.

    Cheater Tire

I love this tire, from 450 trail bikes to pumped up big bore dual-sport bikes, this tire has worked awsome. The only downside, its worthless in goopy, snotty mud..but you'd expect that from a trials tire. It's the only tire that I'll buy.

    Worst tire ever!

This tire started coming apart after 2 weeks of riding. Had to buy a Bridgestone after using this tire for a month. Complete wast of my time and money.

Best I have found so far.

I have been using these tires for a few years now. Have tried the Bridgestones and Michelin soft terrain tires also. I like the Pirellis best. The traction is very good and are very predictable. They will gradually lose traction compared to the others, that let go suddenly. These tires are very confidence inspiring.
