Right now, the Dunlop 404 is the best tire for the money. It is the best mix of the "big three". " Tread life, grip and miles per dollar". Also, my experience has been that all the Dunlops I get are recently manufactured. Some of the higher priced tires (other makes) I have installed for others have had older mfg dates.

Dunlop D402 Rear Bk. wall
I ride a 2002 Electra Glide. This is the 2nd. rear tire I bought from Jake Wilson. (6 tires total) I get 8000 miles out of it and could go another 2000. The black wall looks good and you don't have to clean it as much as the white wall. Besides you can't even see a white wall on the rear with the pipes & saddle bags. This is the best price anywhere and free shipping, you just can't find a better tire or deal.

Dunlop D220 OE Rear Motorcycle Tire

Rear tire is terrible!
I bought a 04 warrior 1700 with only 1600 miles on the factory dunlop D220's. Both tires were already worn, and the rear was flat in the center. I put 1000 miles on it in town and went on a 1300 mile trip with in the first 6 month's of owning the bike. Now the rear tire is showing belts and needs replaced at 4000 miles on my bike. Would not recomend this tire.
