Grips well on street and dirt

I was looking for an aggressive off-road but street legal tire. This one does it for me!! I have to admit, it was VERY slick the first time out. I had to power-brake it and just smoke off some of the tire. I know new tires are slick, but this was an extreme case. After a break-in, the tire grips the street well and hasn't made me uncomfortable on the curves. It tends to wear a little quicker than a standard enduro tire - but to me the aggressive tread is worth it! I'd buy them again. Additional Comments On Sep 01, 2010:Well... it's been a couple years and approximately 1000 miles or so. Still pretty happy with the tire. It's BALD now! This tire wears fast. I rode about 90% on the street. Throughout the tire's life, it never got sketchy on the road and held up well in the dirt. I think I will not get these again, and go for a super motard set-up.

    Good tire for most circumstances

Most people say they love or hate a tire, but forget to take into consideration the terrain it was designed for. The M59 came stock on my 04' KTM 450SX. I live in PA, where we have a mix of all terrains. I do tracks almost exclusively. In hardpack, or wet hardpack, this tire will skate. It is a harder rubber compound, and it is not designed for hardpack. That said - it does work relatively well! Intermediate terrain - this thing is phenomenal. Unholy traction, and it will inspire confidence. I am a HARD front brake user, and this tire will not let the front lock up. Even in the hardpack, you can feel when it's about to let go, it's a great predictable tire. Wet - it works well. I am not the most confident mud rider - but I trust this front tire more than my rear tire. All in all, it is a very good tire - not one you will regret buying, unless you ride rocks and all blue groove type hardpack. The hard rubber will not bite superbly, and will chunk. I'm on my 5th tire, I like it that much. I will be buying another here shortly.

    Good Milage

Put this on my Vstrom and got about 13k kms. Some cupping, but I haven't rode a tire that didn't. Great sticking to the pavement and average in the gravel.
