Bought this tire to try out for my 99 Concours , figured if it lasted a while it would be a good deal .Bought and installed the tire in July 2012 ! now its April 2014 and I just hit the wear bars after 22K miles . I ride years round here in the PNW so this tire has proven itself in the rain . I ride pretty aggressively on the back roads with some slab riding up I-5 between Olympia and Seattle . I usually keep the tire inflated between 38 and 40PSI and I weight about 260 lb .Will be buying another next month .Read All Reviews

I searched several sites and called several bike shops in 2 states looking for this rear tire. The cost was going to be outrageous plus what they were planning to charge to put it on. One day during the search, I found http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/ and saw this Bridgestone for a little over $120. I was hesitant at first because something new...I just wasn't sure, and I really wanted to go with what was on the bike initially, a Metzeler. I decided to take a chance and buy the Bridgestone. I had the bike on the Interstate this morning running 70. I had to take a few curvy and bumpy backroads, but this tire performed VERY WELL...the bike handled very well with it on. The tire looks EXCELLENT, too. It actually looks like the Metzeler that I had on there initially. Now, I plan on checking on one for the front of the bike, and I will be looking for a Bridgestone one from http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/ in order to get an excellent price and product with fast and free shipping!Read All Reviews

In the last few days I replaced my Dunlop Sportmax tyres on my 2004 GSXR 1000 with Shinko tires that I bought from JakeWilson.com. As always from JakeWilson, the tires were well packed with no apparent damage. The tires supplied were: 190/50ZR-17 (73W) Shinko 009 Raven Rear Motorcycle Tire - 2004 Suzuki GSXR1000 (Rear) 120/70ZR-17 (58W) Shinko 009 Raven Front Motorcycle Tire - 2004 Suzuki GSXR1000 (Front) After fitting the tires the wheels were balanced and inflated to approximately 40PSI. During the first test ride it was abundantly clear that turn in was very much slower, and that the bike felt unsteady even at moderate lean angles. The problem is more evident at slow speeds (Read All Reviews

Tire wears well with a fairly hard compound and performs accordingly. Does not perform well in snow, but handles tar snakes on hot summer days very well. Not a good choice for spirited sport tourers on K bikes, but R11R's won't outride this tire and get their money's worth with plenty of miles.Read All Reviews
