I have used the Stealth tires before on other bikes but not on my 1125r till now. I commute 120 miles a day. This trip takes me right through the state forest. I found that I used the tires from edge to edge, both front and rear, without any concern for traction. When the front tire is starting to lose traction it gives you a nice warning before just tucking under, as some tires do. The rear tire will give a controlled slide ,at considerable lean angles, without letting go. I am very pleased with the performance and longevity of these tires. They just don't break loose haha. Unless they're dead cold and you try to clutch up a wheelie really quick with 42 psi of air in the rear. But that's the only time I've been able to break it loose. I absolutely loved my Pilot Power 3, but this has it beat by a little bit. Feels amazing and very confidence inspiring in the corners too. High speed stability is great. Best tire I've ran so far (out of diablo, pilot power 2 and 3, angel st, q2 and q3). Better than all of them. So far I have about 3000 miles on my rear tire and it looks like it's at about 60% tread in the middle.Read All Reviews

I've been using Pirelli Rosso Corsas on my 1125R since I bought it in 2009. The only time I've ever questioned its grip is on a 100deg day in the afternoon sessions of a trackday in Houston. This was the third session in a month on the same rear and the sides were toast. As a street tire it is faultless when it comes to grip. The mileage however is a different story. On a big Vtwin bike like the 1125R, I only get 2000 miles or so out of the rear. And on the street for commuting this just isn't ideal as the center wears well before the sides. Keep that in mind when purchasing this tire and be honest with yourself about what the tire will be used for.Read All Reviews

The 180/55ZR-17 is a good tire, but it's hard to tell when it's worn out -- unless you can see the steel belt! The tread grooves are not in the center of the tread face so you have to guess at how much rubber is left; not a good thing when you're on a long trip. I've moved on to the Road 3 and will try the Road 4 next because of this. Some of my friends noticed this problem, also.Read All Reviews
