Comments On Apr 05, 2016:Bought this bag for my KTM 690 enduro. Perfect size for my bike. mounts quick and easy. Only reason im not giving it 5 stars is the elastic straps both came apart on mine pretty much right away. They don't affect the use of the bag at all just expected more bang for the buck in that department.

Great little bag

Paul in CA

Comments On Mar 10, 2016:Needed a tank bag for my plated 2008 WR450F with an over sized Clark tank. Once I got the straps correctly mounted the bag did not move during a 400 mile California desert trip. The bag was just the right size to hold a few items that I needed to get during some stops.

Not really sure what it is for

Leigh in CA

Comments On Mar 10, 2016:Now I am fully aware the size was published. However, having tried this out this last weekend for over a 1000 miles I am not sure what really fits in the bag.
The good:
This is a seriously high quality product. The attachment is 100% secure (and I road many a bumpy trail). There are no loose threads. The zipper is well made with a decent dongle to pull.
The bad:
The clear pouch is too small for a one of the larger modern smart phones with a charging cable attached (think iPhone 6 Plus/Galaxy 5). I ended up taking the old smaller phone so it would fit.
The clear plastic on the pouch sticks to the phone screen so you have to take your gloves off and "unglue" it to remove from the pouch. I gave up and put the phone in a pocket.
The size was always going to be a compromise but to be honest I found nothing of use to me over a four day trip to Death Valley that fitted into the bag. It would not hold a water bottle or tire levers as to short. It would hold a single tube but barely room for patches, pump etc. I was hoping to fit a tube, levers, sun screen and a few other basics but it just did not work out. I ended up wearing a back pack anyway.

Sweet system!

Comments On May 14, 2015:This is a cool bag, I took the map bag off of it and mounted a iPad mini to it with industrial Velcro. The iPad is in a life proof case. I use it as a gps unit when Bluetoothed to a Dual gps unit. The top of the bag is the same size as the iPad

Nice Tank Bag

Kevin in MI

Comments On Mar 21, 2015:The straps were a little confusing at first but when straightened out, I was able to fit it snug with lots of extra strap. This tank bag isn't going anywhere!

Comments On Oct 05, 2013:Really well constructed and fits well on my KLX250S, but it doesn't hold very much.

Good tank bag

Comments On Jun 13, 2013:If you're looking for a small tank bag to toss some of your junk in, this is a good option. It is less expensive than many other options and can hold a fair amount of stuff. The top plastic sleeve is a nice addition as well for holding a cell phone or driving directions.

Looks good, fits well, functions fine.

Comments On Aug 13, 2012:This is a very durable and functional tank bag. Fits well on a XL500S, and a DR650SE. The new design (four buckles instead of 3) is a significant improvement and makes re-installing it a breeze.

Great Bag

Dan in OR

Comments On Jul 02, 2012:I got this bag for a three day trip. It worked great. I could put a bunch of stuff in it that I needed accessable. The fit took a litle time to get used to, because I ride up on my tank. I ride with a gps on my bars so I kept my cell phone and iPod in the map pocket. I will keep riding with it.
