Great investment

Charles in CA

Comments On Jan 26, 2015:These fit perfect, were comfortable from the first day, easy to put on and adjust. Not bad at all to walk in as well. A great boot that's worth every penny !

Simply Awesome

Mark in TX

Comments On Dec 12, 2014:I am coming from a pair of Alpinestar Tech3 boots. The buckles on these were horrendous. I would often have to get my buddies to help get the buckles undone. The boots were comfortable other than that.
Now, the Sidi buckles are awesome. They stay locked at the same tension and the lock and unlock with ease...but never inadvertently. The boots were a bit stiff...but after one ride, they feel like I have had them for years. They are super comfortable. I was worried because most reviews said they were very narrow. I have a narrow heal but a wide toe area. I normally wear a 9.5 in most street shoes but always get a 10 for athletic footwear to allow for my feet to swell. I got the 10s with the Crossfires and they are very roomy. I was rather surprised based on the reviews. Overall, the level of protection compared to the Tech 3s is night and day. Of course, you are paying twice as much. Would I buy again....absolutely.

Constant Protection After 3 Rides

David in IN

Comments On Sep 30, 2014:After 3 races, they still look and feel great. The right foot front protector has lost one screw from skimming some huge rock crossings on the trail, but it did it's job which was to protect my foot !!

Best boots I've worn

Justin in CA

Comments On Jun 06, 2014:I tried the Gaerne SG-12s, they had a bad pressure point in the ankle for me but were very nice boots. Tried on some alpinestars tech 10s, they didn't feel like a big enough improvement over my tech 3s. Then I tried the Sidis; these boots are the most comfortable to walk in that I've ever worn, and they still feel like they give more protection than the a-stars. The slim toe also makes getting your foot under the shifter easier. The kick starter plastic guard has saved me multiple times, and it saves the sole of the boot from getting chewed up from hitting the peg. Construction quality is top notch, been riding them for 6 months and no issues. Highly recommend these boots.

Comments On Apr 22, 2013:These are the best fitting boots hands down. If you have a narrow heel they're better than the SG-12s. Lighter too. The outers (leather part) have taken more of a beating than I expected. The soles are bulletproof and show very little wear after over a year. All in all the best boot you can pay for it but DO get what you pay for...quality.

Excellent boot with one very small flaw

Timothy in FL

Comments On Jan 11, 2013:This boot is awesome. I have owned several pairs of riding and dual sport boots. Hands down this boot is the best and it should be for the price. On my first ride I had a small fall. It was not dramatic by no means and no damage to the bike. During the fall my foot came off the peg and shin hit the peg. There is a small area on the lower shin of the boot thats not protected. This equated to a cut on my lower shin requring sticthes. For the price tag of this boot I would think that SIDI wouild maximize the plastic/protection on the shin of this boot. Other then the lack of shin protection. Awesome boot!

Great Mobility and Protection

Ian in CO

Comments On Aug 20, 2012:I bought these boots after nearly breaking my foot in a dirt bike crash. They provide great protection but the well-designed joints also allow you to bend your ankles just enough to facilitate walking around while restricting just about every other motion.
If you're used to softer boots, these will take a little getting used to, but the protection is well worth it.
