These are a "no brainer" for woods riders

Todd in CA

Comments On Mar 26, 2015:These are a no brainer if you ride woods, or places where things hit your hands. I use Cycra hand guards, but I still would get hit on the hand with the occasional tree branches or shrubs. Ouch! These add a lot more protection, and now I rarely get hand hits. They are also great for cold weather riding as they direct the airflow around your hands, keeping them much warmer. I don't use heated grips, and I ride year round, so this is important for me.
They install with pop rivets, and probably fit most hand guards out there.

Rivets required

Jeremy in CA

Comments On Dec 11, 2014:Didn't realize a rivet gun was needed. I assumed they were plug and play (if you will), but that's my bad. Just be aware going in. Otherwise they seem to the good quality.

Buyer Beware! Special tools needed

Jarrad in KY

Comments On Feb 29, 2008:These extensions look great with the handguards. Seem to be very good quality too. Only problem is you have to have a rivet gun to attach them together. The rivets and a drill bit are included, (I didn't notice this when I purchased them.) Other than that they're great!
