Save your money

Matt in CO – Machine this part was bought for: 2012 POLARIS RANGER RZR XP 900

Comments On Apr 24, 2014:Did some reading on different paddle tires and decided to give them a try. Really disappointing! My friend has the 900 as well and went with the sand stars and he out climbs me constantly and gets a better jump out of the hole. Even on the stock big horns he passed me on a hill climb. Probably be a better tire if you have a turbo or more power but you can do better for less.

STI Pro-lites with STI Vortex V-roll tires

casey in CA – Machine this part was bought for: 2013 POLARIS RANGER RZR XP 4 900

Comments On Feb 11, 2014:These fit my 900 XP4 LE great with the STI Pro-lite wheels 14X7 wheels on front &14X9 wheels on the rear, with this set up I can get just about anywhere in the sand with an otherwise stock machine. I was able to get to the top of comp hill @ Sand Mountain NV with one passenger and to the superbowl with a full load of adults, and was also able to go straight up all but the steepest stuff at Coos Bay OR around the Horsfall camping area. Some other reviewers claimed to have rubbing issues with the V-Roll paddles but I have yet to have any problems.
Rear wheels with paddles mounted weighed in @ 31pounds while the fronts with tires mounted weighed only 28 pounds.

Tires are too BIG

Jay in Arizona

Comments On Jan 09, 2013:They sure do look good, but I bought these as a set brand new, front steering tires and rear paddles with the STI spun aluminum wheels. For the SMALL dunes they are pretty good, but when coming down a dune or hill and to start back up, the front tires rub the fenders pretty bad. And when you need to go up a hill, plan on it taking awhile or a less of an angle route to make it back to the group, as you will loose horsepower because these are ALOT of tire and wheel for the SXS's to push up the hill. Just my honest opinion as I traded mine back in. Go for the smaller tires so you have the horses to make it up those hills everyone else is going up. Better yet if they made a 25.5" tall tire with a 12 or 13" wheel that would be ideal !! One good thing is they do have a higher stance, but you are in the sand you are not rock crawling.
Good luck !!
