I tried a set of Rev 'It gear before purchasing the Klim Baja pant and jacket. The quality is top notch. The protection is amazing, very flexible, and hardly noticeable. I live in Southern Georgia and bought the gear mainly because I need something that will be good for 85 degrees plus. I know the price is a little high, but I came to the realization that you should just go ahead and spend the money and get the protection you deserve. Remember you only have one body, so you need to protect it!

Great riding pants! Very durable. Very comfortable. Accurate sizing. Vents work great and are positioned well. They do get a little warm in hot weather...

Picked up a full set of Dakar gear because I got tired of spending money on gear that would rip if you breath on it. I will say I'm extremely impressed by the Dakar Jersey and pants. The pants are tough, thick, and feel very sturdy. The only downside is if you have larger legs, and wear knee braces I recommend going a size up. They fit around my Mobius braces but if I don't take the time to pull the pants up to have more material above them they can be restrictive in movement, and after several months of riding with them they have not stretched or broken in at all While its usable for me now, I may end up investing in a bigger pair despite the painful price. Also another downside is the inability to add extra padding in the hips like their out of boot pants. I feel like this is a big missed opportunity and I see no reason why they elected not to include this feature. I would have very much liked to purchase the hip pads for them.

If you are on the fence about these just buy them. Way higher quality than I expected, excellent fit, and very comfortable. These are easily as good or better than Klim Carlsbad. I wear 34x32 jeans, bought the 34 and they fit great.

Overall a great value. They are a bit stiff but i think they will be fine after a few rides. IN my opinion they run a little small. My jean size is 34 and they are very roomy. I ordered a 34 in these pants and they were snug in the waist. I decided to send them back for a size 36. That was the ticket plenty of room for a base layer if needed for cold weather. They have plenty of adjustment in the waist if needed. Rocky Mountain made the exchange a breeze.

Size is not what was expected. With an elastic waistband, assumed a Large would be right for a 36" waist. Elastic is maxed out. Would consider these "Large" as suitable for a 32-34" waist.
