Bought this for my drz400s after i converted to sm rims. I rode around with the stock rotor for alittle while but as i got alittle more comfortable and riding more aggressive the stock brakes weren't cutting it. I went with this over the more expensive 320mm conversion from like motostana or other websites for 3 reasons. 1) this rotor was around half the price as the cheapest 320mm kit i could find. 2)i still take my sm on some pretty brutal trails from time to time and the bigger rotor is more likely to get hit my something and bend or brake. Not to mention to much front brake offroad cant be a bad thing. 3)Im nottrack riding or anything wild enough that a 270 front rotor wouldn't be adequate. The total bike rider weight is under 450lbs, topspeed is like 90mph and thumpers engine brake like crazy.Read All Reviews
