    5.10-18 is a great tire

Lightweight carcass, excellent braking and acceleration on everything but super hard pack. Wears well and knobs are really tall to start out with.

    Best bang for the buck

I've tried Kenda, MSR (same as Kenda) Bridgestone, Michelin, STI,Bikemaster, Pirelli and IRC tubes. I prefer the Michelins, but not for the money. The IRCs are almost as good but a lot less money.

    IRC VE35 Enduro Tire

Out of money and needed a tire.

I bought this tire because it was cheap. I wasn't expecting much but the tire is quite impressive in the woods and rocks of southern Oregon. I feel more confidant with this tire the Dunlop Geomax tires that I used to run. With tubes I run it down to 7 PSI with no issues, the lugs are a 1/2" tall.

    Weak sidewalls

IRC TR-11 front tube-type running low with Tubliss lasted 1700 miles and 184 hours (95% dirt) but the sidewalls are just not strong enough. Eventually there was a "flex zone" along the sidewall and cuts appeared. IRC TR-11 rear is tubeless with strong sidewalls and is still running even though the knobs are down to about 2 mm. I replaced the front with a Pirelli M43 which is looking good so far.
