  • ProTaper Swivel-Hook/Carabiner/Soft Loop Tie Downs

    ProTaper Swivel-Hook/Carabiner/Soft Loop Tie Downs

    Cary in PA

    Best tie downs I've found

So many features! Can't think of anything else you'd need in a tie-down strap? Extra-wide 84"x1.5" Velcro-secured strap ends with soft loops, a spring loaded swivel-hook carabiner - keeps straps from twisting and 1200 lbs. tension strength per strap! If you need more than that, start looking at chains ;)

    Best Grips on the Market

Hey moto fans, @dirkbike here. Prior to discovering this grip a few years ago, I was sold I would run nothing but the Scorpion SLX grip which I discovered racing WORCS over a decade ago, and going through about a dozen different grips trying to figure out a balance between comfort and traction. If you go with too soft of a rubber compound, your hand moves around too freely while fully gripped because how pliable the rubber is. If you go with too hard of a rubber, or too aggressive of a tread design, they'll eat your hands up and cause blisters. Especially during hour + races. I wont lie - attraction is what initially drew me into the Pro Taper Tri Density grip. They're beautifully made, with the distinct separation of color and rubber compounds. That's right, 3 density's of rubber and color! There's a very hard outer end cap to reduce the chances of tearing it off in crashes (I've yet to do so, on my 5th pair I believe), a medium compound throughout the core, and a soft tacky compound where your hand goes. There's even a nice pad for your palm, and an awesome mini diamond texture on the rest which provides lots of grip. More grip = less strength to hold on, which equals less arm pump, longer moto's, and more confidence. The flange is also nice and stiff which helps with control and again, confidence. Many people over look grips, and think a grip is a grip. But there is definately a science behind it, especially for the guys pushing the limits. I would highly recommend giving this grip a try. Feel free to reach out to me with questions.
