Great boot! ...but way smaller than my Tech 7's

Worn Alpinestars boots for years, always wear a Sz-9 including the Tech 7's I'm wearing now. Gave these a try for the enduro situations, but low-and-behold, they're so small I had to curl my toes. Order a size up and you'll be golden.

Alpinestars Long Tech MX Thick Socks

    These are the THICK socks?

I'm using some old school MX long socks from 15 years ago, they are the classic very thick and fuzzy socks that go halfway up your thigh. This makes just about any knee guard comfortable enough. The new socks are what I call 'thin' socks, no bulk to them at all. If you want a thick, impact absorbent sock, look elsewhere.

    Great boots for xc riding

You can buy more expensive boots but why? You can push in these pull in these and ride all day in them. When they arrive put them on and go riding or walking around admiring yourself in the mirror whatever is your thing. I use mine for riding and like them allot fit is true to size for me and the calls fit great. I can feel brake and shift in them out of the box without adjusting my pedals. Get them if you don't want a full motocross boots and want good protection. Black and grey looks good buckles are secure.

  • Alpinestars A-1 Roost Guard

    Alpinestars A-1 Roost Guard

    Way Better Than Expected

I wear a chest protector only when the roost at whatever track I am at is unbearable, i usually prefer not to wear one at all. With that said I need my chest protector to be pretty light and un-restricting. I have been wearing a fox proframe, and decided to try this because I like alpinestars and it looked pretty breathable. When I got it in the mail I was surprised by how sturdy it was, and after wearing it I was surprised by how comfortable it was. I like the strap system, and I wear it over the jersey and it still looks good. I am 5 foot 8, 155 pounds and I got the small / medium. Fits good, I wouldn't want it any smaller.

Alpinestars; never got a bad one.

When you stuff your heavy-socked foot into the boot, stuff the pants leg or whatever in, adjust the buckles and click them in; Ahhh... Alpinestars. How do they make THIS boot fit like the first one I got in '81? Dunno, but I like it!
