Exactly what I was looking for

These are minimal but tough. I wore them for 5 hours on the first use and barely noticed them - that is how comfortable they are. I'm short so they tuck into my boots enough to hold them securely. The gripper silicone holds them from slipping down or rotating. The padding is thin but effective. I can't tolerant bulky guards that stick way boots or mess with the feel of the bike between my legs. These work perfectly for me.

Not bad, but could be better

I found that the attached kidney belt to be up way to high. Luckily you can remove it, so I just never use it. It would have been nice if it was about 2 inches lower. I found it to be fairly hot. Also, one of the screws on the back panel stripped out. Overall, I think the protection the rider receives is great. It just has a couple flaws that I wasn't overly impressed with.

    Poor Construction

Great designed product but poorly constructed. First one I received the material under the arms tore and the zipper on the elbow pads broke. Contacted Leatt and returned item for replacement. I have worn the new one 2 times and the stitching is coming apart on some of the pads. I love the design and the protection it affords but I wish it was constructed better. It is also very hot to ride in but a trade off for better rib protection. Leatt replaced first set I ordered and it is starting to come apart also. Elbow guard stitching came unraveled the first time I rode & I restitched it myself. After 5 days or riding the Colorado 500 it is tearing under the arms like the first one did. I am contacting Leatt to see if they can or will do something about it other than just replace it with another that will tear also.

    Like these alot

I like these pads a lot.. I couldn't tell you how many times they have saved my knees because I never notice when I go down and hit my knees on something. They fit fine under my ITB and OTB pants.

Like them alot, but careful on sizing

I like these a lot. They are nice and thin and easily fit under a jersey and I don't really notice them unless they slide down. If I make sure these are really far up my bicep they tend to stay up better. I bought right at the bottom end of the bicept measurement for the largest size since I didn't want them too tight and maybe affecting arm pump by hampering circulation, but if I don't get them just right they can slide down, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. It's sort of weird and I haven't 100% figured out what exactly causes them to occasionally slip down. I have gone on long rides where they stay put, and other where they slide down my arm a bit. All-in-all thought, these are much preferred over my hard-plastic elbow pads, Not going back to those.

Best knee pads out there, but sizing is off

Very durable, comfortable, and protective knee pads. They run extremely small though. I'm a very average 180lbs, 5'10" guy and ordered the L/XL size based on the measurements. They were way too small, couldn't get my knee into the knee cups or the straps around my legs without extreme squeezing. Gave them to a friend and ordered the XXL and they fit me well and are snug but not overly tight. If not for the messed up sizing these would be 5 stars.
