Nice quality but odd fit in shin area.

I bought the large size of the Leatt Enduro knee guards. I have been looking for a hard shell knee guard that does NOT have the shin guard part that goes into the boot or one that has minimal shin guard material. I was really hoping that the Leatt Enduro would sit above the boot, however it does not. I tried them on with my Forma Adventure dual sport boots (3 buckle so they are a bit shorter than mx boots) , and they are not long enough to go into the boot so they are constantly pushing on the top of the boot, which means the are moving around when i stand up and down and poking into my shins. I tried them on with my Garne SG10 (4 buckle) mx boots, and the shin part goes into the boot, however as i stand/sit they work their way out and end up poking on the top of the boot. I think these were more designed for downhill mountain biking. I will be returning them and looking for a knee guard with less shin guard material.

Bad fit and questionable ability to protect

Would not recommend, weird fit, question of they would even provide protection in a crash

    Should be called forearm guards

I hate to give this a one star review, but the object of these is to protect your elbows, and mine provide very little as they never stay in place. They are very comfortable, and I LOVE my 3DF kneepads which are held in place by my boots, but these slide off my elbow within minutes of riding, whether over or under my jersey, and I have pretty big arms, so it is not like they are loose. I wish I could rate them higher because if they would stay in place they would be 5 stars, but as it is they are useless.
