    Great protection

It's very comfortable when it's on but for slow technical riding it gets hot quick in the summer. I have a jersey and Camelbak on top and had to switch back to my Fox air frame roost guard so I think I need to look at the Leatt adventure chest protector for the summer months when doing single track. Over all I'm happy with it.

Good Product - Needs Shoulder Strap Fixed

I really like the protector. It fits and wears well. Works great with the matching neck brace. But like some of the others have mentioned, the shoulder pad straps are T-shaped fittings in a hole and the tear out the first time you catch them and they cannot be put back in. They won't stay since they tear the hole out. I had to poke a hole in mine and zip-tie it back in. Maybe they are meant to come out instead of breaking, but they end up tearing up the hole in the process which ruins the protector. If the strap broke, at least one could replace just the strap or something. I probably will buy another one just because I want the best and it fits so well with the neck brace. It just needs the straps fixed.

Very protective, makes you sweat alot

Offers a lot of protection from called and tree limbs. The waist band does wrap right around your belly and makes you sweat a lot. Ft is good and snug, does not move around. Also does not hinder movement in any direction. Would bug again.

    Poor Construction

Great designed product but poorly constructed. First one I received the material under the arms tore and the zipper on the elbow pads broke. Contacted Leatt and returned item for replacement. I have worn the new one 2 times and the stitching is coming apart on some of the pads. I love the design and the protection it affords but I wish it was constructed better. It is also very hot to ride in but a trade off for better rib protection.

    Surprised how comfortable

I was really surprised how comfortable this chest proctor felt. I was concerned about the rib protector feeling constricting , but I discovered the rib protector actually held the chest protector in place and it felt like I wasn't wearing a chest protector at all. No bouncing or sliding around like my other chest protects, including another Leatt model that I was using. I really forgot I was wearing it. Picking up the chest protector, it feels heavy, but really the weight is unnoticeable when wearing. Again, very surprised. The should pad connection system could use some work. I see some concerns of longevity, but the sliding connection system does allow the should pads to move into a natural position and were not an issue when riding. Heat was my other concern, but on my first ride it was around 88 degrees with very high humidity. I was really surprised how comfortable the chest protector felt. Price could be cheaper and I hope the should pad mounting holds up, but for now I'm very happy with the protector.
