    They work

These knee guards work but are not very comfortable at least on my legs but this is very subjective as they may fit other peoples legs well.

They're very lightweight and initially seem very comfortable but they chaffed the back of my knees even though I was wearing knee brace socks. They're plastic and not very stiff which doesn't make me very confident on how they'll protect my knees in case of a bad crash. Out of the four straps on each leg, two are easy clip on and the other two aren't. Why? They'd be very fast to get in and out of if all of them were clip on. Left and right aren't labelled so the first few times I had to put them on and feel them in order to find out. The foam and liner are velcro and therefore very easy to clean. You can just throw it in the washer and that's it. They're very adjustable and have a ton of options to set them up to fit you perfectly, however you won't really know if they're set up correctly until you're riding. I spent a lot of time and energy making adjustments and testing them until I finally had them set to fit me fine.

    Just average fit...

Fit wasn't what I expected... I'm 6'5" 230lbs though. Definitely will protect you. Seemed hot when riding too.

a little tight and tend to slip down. had a logging road off bike excursion and they protected my elbow and forearm but never fit the same after that. No worries, I went with a comp suit and like it much better

    Great Riding Shorts

I've been through many pairs of padded riding shorts over the years. All in the $50-60 price range. They have all been adequate and not great. The Comp Pro shorts are great. Lots of all day intense singletrack in mountains or desert and they are the most comfortable shorts I've owned.
