Measuring the back of my knee was a pain in the butt, but after I found some help my measurement was 5 1/8" across the back of my knee. I am 6'4" 215LBS the LG/XL braces fit me beautifully. I have ridden for two full days with them on with no issues. I would definitely recommend getting a set of knee brace sleeves with your purchase and give yourself to get them adjusted before you get to the track with them. After having three reconstructive surgeries on my right knee I finally found a brace that gives me the support I need to ride with out pain.Read All Reviews

Purchased two different types of alpinestar knee guards, the vapors and the SX-1. The vapors are the worst fitting product I have ever purchased from alpinestars. Sent them back to RockyMountain and told them to remove from their sales list. The SX-1 knee guard offers more protection, fit true to size, and I have raced XC races no problem. Been racing 10 years so I have tested a lot of products.Read All Reviews

This is a great knee guard. It is by no means a brace, but it's as close to one as you might get. I had the EVS version and regretted ten laps later, had black and blue bruses on the inside of my knees where my legs grip the tank from the hinge bolts on the pads. These however have excellent padding. All sitched to the plastic so it doesn't move around inside the guard. My only complaint so far are the straps are somewhat uncomfortable. So I recommend knee sleeves. Overall great knee gaurd.Read All Reviews
