This is a great product. Warm and dry. The outer flap is the key. It keeps the rain out of the collar.

    light weight shorts

The shorts were great for about 15 minutes into the ride. The Hip protector pad that is above the waist band started to curl up and chafe my skin. The rest of the shorts were great. I'm considering trimming the hip pads or just trying to remove them altogether.

    Bought these again.

This is the second time I have purchased these shorts. They provide a lot of protection and hold up well in MX conditions. They are sized a bit small and I have seen some complain about interference with knee braces but I am 6 ft tall and they do not conflict with my knee braces. Maybe they would if you are shorter. Great product will probably buy yet a third pair when these finally wear out too.

    Alpinestars neck warmer!

Neck warmer is a must have in Maryland in the winter. Tucks into your collar, light weight and keeps the wind and cold off your neck. I'm 6'2 195 pounds average size and it fits snug on my neck. Takes a little effort to keep it pulled up around your face when putting on your helmet but that should be expected. A little pricey! Still would recommend. R.O.R.H. Ride Often Ride Hard B. T.

    Warm and Comfy

Good solid pair of socks. I wear these with a set of Gore-tex boots, and since my boots are armored, I have encountered breathability issues as compared to previous Gore-tex boots I have owned. The socks ride high on my lower leg and come well up over the calf. They have no problem staying up (doesn't overstretch and fall down), which helps to prevent my boots from getting clammy.
