    Warm and dry

This is a great product. Warm and dry. The outer flap is the key. It keeps the rain out of the collar.

    Good stuff

Fit was true, I like the protection and the price was ok. Took awhile for it to ship so keep that in mind. The materials were top notch and expect the weather resistant gloves to be a good addition to the gear.

    Alpinestars neck warmer!

Neck warmer is a must have in Maryland in the winter. Tucks into your collar, light weight and keeps the wind and cold off your neck. I'm 6'2 195 pounds average size and it fits snug on my neck. Takes a little effort to keep it pulled up around your face when putting on your helmet but that should be expected. A little pricey! Still would recommend. R.O.R.H. Ride Often Ride Hard B. T.

    Runs Very Small!

Thanks to RM for the worry-free exchange. I'm usually a Medium everything, and fit in men's size 32 pants. However, I bought a Large in this jacket based on the chest measurements, which should have allowed plenty of room everywhere. Not so, couldn't get it on with the liner, even with just a Tshirt underneath. With liner removed, got it on, but really tight in the hips and chest. The jacket itself looks really well built, with soft lining around the collar for scratch-free wear. The shoulder and elbow guards are light, enough to offer a bit of protection but not too much to feel like a straightjacket. I like the pockets placed well for gloved opening/closing. I can't wait to get the X(!)-Large and test it. Will post an update! Update: Ultimately giving it 3 stars. Quality and workmanship is unmistakable. Female fit, not so much. You'll need to be small in the hips and chest to enjoy this jacket. I removed the spine and shoulder protectors as well as the liner, and it fits, but still feels like it was originally designed for a man's straight-up-n-down figure. Purchased it for wet Pacific NW dirt riding, and it will do fine, so I'm keeping it. Final update. Sadly, no matter how bad I wanted to love this jacket, it just wasn't fitting. I returned for a refund. Big thx to RMATV for the no-hassle return policy. I love A-star stuff and wanted to like it, but this was not working. If you're a straight up-n-down figure, go for it. Curvy? Keep searching. C'mon manufacturers, girls ride too, and need stuff that fits.
