I wish there were 6 stars

This thing works & it works very well for improving throttle response & adding low end on my bike. It made a drastic improvement at the stock TPS setting. It continues to make a good improvement after I bumped the TPS up. I know I know, the internet forums say these can't work. . . gimmick. . . blah blah blah. Well, it does. I'd have probably paid double for the improvement it gave this bike. Ive had it in for 70hours of rides and crashes that were pretty unfriendly to the machine & have had no occurrences of it working lose. The model for my 450XCW has a hook on the bottom that lodges it in place in the airboot against the lip of the boot and the edge of carb. I'd guess that if the carb wasn't fully seated and secured in the boot there could be enough play that the SNAP could work lose. Unfortunately I see the model for my 300 doesn't seem to have that same hook. I'm giving it a go anyway and I'll see how it shakes out for that machine. If it's half the improvement this one was on my 450 I'll likely still give it 4+ stars.

    would have went with JD

this kit works alright, but to me its just a dyno jet set with FMF stickers. I ended up changing out needles and different mains anyhow. this kit also doesn't come with any pilot jets, that would have been nice to know.

    save your money!

This thing caused nothing but trouble! It sets so close to the head that it will eat a hole in no time at all! had to wire it back off the head even then it still rubs the fuel line which left me stranded in the middle of st.Antony's sand dunes! there is no power change ether save the money and get something worth the money!!
