The Big Blocks are great off-road, very predictable and confidence inspiring. The surprise was how well they perform on road, other than grooved concrete on the interstate (the Achilles-heel of all knobbies) they hold a line very well and vibration/noise isn't bad. I run these with Michelin UHD tubes and they balanced easily, 2oz on the back 1oz up front

Tough quality tube. Worth the little extra especially when its on my son's bike. Hate to get a flat 20 miles out on the trail. Happy tails to all.

Just had my first ride on this tire. The install the bead is stiff make sure to lube well going on an 18” rim. As for traction in rocks climbed effortlessly while others were slipping. Cornering I wasn’t completely confident in the sidewall bite. The tire didn’t deflect off of everything like traditional knobies, but kind of rolled over everything putting power to the ground. Can’t testify to life being a soft compound, but for single track GNCC it works very well. Even in soft muddy sections powered right through with traction while other got stuck. It was a little slippery in mud and unstable going fast, but got me through. 2013 Yamaha Yz250 2 stroke.

Haven’t used but one ride but the tire seems to be good in the mud, rocks, hard pack dirt and loose dirt! For the price it’s a great product!

I may have got one from a bad batch or something, but I had the center lugs ripping off after just around 700 miles. Those were mainly highway miles, but it is advertised as a dual sport tire. It did however perform amazingly in the sand. Also it was fairly wobbly at highway speeds. Would maybe buy again for a dirt bike, but definitely wouldn't recommend for dual sport. The awesome customer service people at rocky mountain did reimburse me for it.
