    Meh

I've been getting really bad monkey butt lately and thought these would help. No joy. The stitching is pretty mediocre and they feel kind of cheap.

    Almost perfect.

Quality material. Well engineered. If I were to make one change: space for taller tools ( i.e. combo axle-wrench/tire-iron, etc.)

Great day pack for dual sporting around. I can carry just about everything I need for a day of dual sporting on my 2 stroke.

  • MSR Xpedition Helmet

    MSR Xpedition Helmet

    Too good to be true

To start, this is the same exact helmet as my brother's Fly brand helmet. Made in the same Chinese factory no doubt. The helmet looks great and I wanted to like it but: the visor distorts your vision, so Ive been using goggles. It has no easy way of removing the face shield, first you need to remove the visor, then remove screws to get the shield off, oh, and there are plastic washers that are easy to loose so don't plan on riding somewhere and then switching to goggles. Its really loud, waay too much wind noise, and its not aerodynamic so your head will get pushed around in the wind on the freeway. The visor is too small to be useful, and it doesn't drop down far enough to even see it while the helmet is on. It runs a size big, I'm normally a large but would need a medium in this, also the pads aren't very soft. I dont recommend it.
