    Great tire

Used by a senior dirt bike rider for trail riding. Not the latest design in tire or compound but this tire just works for me. Usually ride dry trails on intermediate soil or hard soil conditions. Very predictable which is what I like.

    Great tires

No real down side except front wore out prior to rear at 5200 miles. Front still had center tread but was down to the wear bars on the sides. Great traction in the wet and on tar snakes. To be fair I had done lots of windy roads two up on a fair heavily loaded bike and a few spirited rides by myself. Must be a two compound tire because the off-the-center tread also showed evidence of softer rubber compound sideway slippage wear. Still have maybe 3000 miles left in rear tire. Very confidence inspiring tire - not a single pucker moment due to tires. Have repurchased

    Excellent tire

Not a sngle complaint with this tire for riding on the road. Used off pavement for maybe 75 miles on a forest service roads and was ok in that limited service. For road riding on various types of asphalt and twisted roads whether wet or dry or with tar snakes this tire performed. Will purchase again - 5200 miles on tire and maybe 3000 more left.

Excellent for a dual sport tire for DOT and off road.

I would recommend this tire. Predictable in all conditions on road and good in off road situations. Have had multiple sets on a variety of dual sport bikes and they have always given excellent longevity and predictability for an all around compromise road/off road tire.

    A great front tire.

If your looking for a great front tire for your Adventure or Dual Sport bike and ride a lot of off road this is the ticket. I purchased my last one during the rebate promotion and it made the price even better.

2009 KLR 240lb. riding in Southern Utah

I put new MT21's to attend the Flying Monkey Adventure in Southern Utah. The terrain was mostly soft and very sandy in places. At 20 psi single and 25 psi two up, the tires handled much better off road than the Kenda Big Blocks they replaced. The Kenda's are a better street tire because of it's bigger blocks and smooth to the touch surface, but the MT21's are much better in the dirt. I was able to do sandy hill climbs that the Kenda's wouldn't do. and the front tire turns in fine where the Kenda would tuck in soft terrain. After about 400 miles in easy terrain and asphalt, single and two up, the tires show little wear on the rear and none on the front. I can't comment on tread life yet but since the knobs are smaller, closer to a dirt bike tire, I don't expect them to last very long in the Las Vegas area where I live.
