    Third Leatt Helmet

Started wearing the Leatt helmets back in 2015 with the Carbon 6.5. The newer helmets have updated padding and are more comfortable compared to the originals with purple inner liner. Perfect helmet if you have neck pain, it is very light and well vented.

Third Leatt Helmet - Always Improving

Purchased this as a backup helmet to my original Leatt 6.5 carbon. Same light weight and venting but Leatt improved he comfort with much better interanl padding on the newer line. Composite option comes in a bit cheaper and I could not tell a difference in the slight weight increase, recommended!

    Finger Protection and Nice Feel

Been wearing Leatt gloves for a few years now and they allow great feel on the grips. Back of hand protection is a nice added feature if you ride woods with trees/branches. They fit true to size for me and overall seem durable, only downside if anything is the high price.

  • Leatt GPX 6.5 Carbon V19 Helmet

Leatt GPX 6.5 Carbon V19 Helmet

    Best helmet I've ever worn.

I can't get over how light this helmet is. Extremely comfortable to wear for extended periods. The last few helmets I've worn have had pressure points and don't fit my head evenly. This one has a very nice oval shape that doesn't push on my forehead or temples. There is plenty of room for my ears and I don't have any issue with my ears folding over when putting it on. I don't normally ride with glasses but I tried mine just to see and they fit great in the helmet with no pinching or interference from the pads. Extremely well ventilated. Crazy wide field of view. Built in routing channel for a hydration tube. The visor can come down enough to block the sun and roost, and also lifts up and out of the way completely. Comes with a high quality helmet bag with a zipper and handles instead of drawstrings. Obviously it fits well with the Leatt neck brace. The field of view helps a ton with the limited movement from the neck brace. The bottom lip of the helmet is contoured so that it doesn't interfere with the brace for normal movement. Cheek pads can be removed with the helmet still on with red pull tabs and it is supposedly compatible with helmet ejection systems. I'm not sure if it's $100 safer or lighter than the 5.5 V19 but I still think it's well worth the price. The 5.5 might be a better value. My ONE and ONLY complaint is that one of the plastic break away visor screws was stripped when I got it and would not tighten enough to hold the visor in place. Luckily 3 spare screws are included and you can buy a set for around $12.

These knee guards are nice and flexible. They provide a ton of protection and I did not have any problem with them sliding down while riding.
