I feel its a must have if you purchase the Trail Tech Vapor computer. The mount can attach to the bar hold down clamp which places it up closer to the rider and more subject to potential damage but also direct sun which can wash out the screen when it gets hot, but will return when cooled. The better way is to locate it where the factory computer was located (have to remove it of course) and used some short stand-offs and bolts to mount it, so now its in the original computer location, protected from crash damage and protected from direct sun-light for the most part. I have not had any issue with the sun washing out the screen once I moved it to the factory location. The factory metal bracket below the OEM computer has to be slightly modified but the end result is awesome.Read All Reviews

Nice being able to keep a record of your total mileage and hours besides trip mileage and time, clock, air temp, coolant temp, set warning lights and RPM. Unfortunately my Tach does not read properly no matter what I've tried and even contacted CS at Trail Tech for assistance and followed their advice. So no accurate RPM on my bike but still worth the cost of admission for all the other features so 4 stars not 5 because of this.Read All Reviews

I broke my stock one and was shock at the price of oem replacement so I tried this. Plugged right in and bolted right on stock mounting bracket. Best part of all is that it's nicer to look at and saved money.Read All Reviews

I purchased this kit due to the minimal parts and ease of installation. This kit was the perfect solution. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I did need to plate my bike in Nevada and it is a risky venture if you decide to take on such a quest. I needed the plate for some dual sport rides coming up. Bottom line is the kit is an excellent solution.Read All Reviews
