I'm 6'4" and wear a size 13 boot. I had trouble with the distance (or lack of distance) between my shift lever and foot peg. The problem was that I was having to point my foot so far down to get under the shift lever to up shift. This caused some trouble, especially when trying to up shift while standing. It doesn't seem like the added 10 mm would make much difference, but it does. The hammerhead shifter has changed my shifting game for the better. AS FOR THE BOLT - have you ever lost a shift lever while riding? I have. It was no fun. Came out of the trail at my local practice facility and shifted down into 2nd to coast through the parking area to get back to the trail head. Got back to the trail head and went to upshift and NO SHIFT LEVER! Luckily, I'd left the ramp on my truck bed and putted the bike back to my truck and up into the bed. Had I not, I would have caught heck trying to load the bike by myself while it was stuck in gear. THIS BOLT IS PRE-DRILLED FOR SAFETY WIRE SO I WILL NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT LOSING A SHIFT LEVER MID RIDE AGAIN.Read All Reviews
