    Worth the price

Hard to believe a pair of riding undies can cost this much but after riding with them, they are worth the price. Great comfort and breathability! Ill be picking up another pair for those multiple ride days.

    nice undershirt

Bought this for the shoulder protection because my RXR chest protector didn't have shoulder protection. Shoulders are always the first to hit in a crash. Very comfortable and breathable. Great as a first layer just wish it could be a little bigger but it stretches a lot. Removable pads are easy to take out to wash. The only reason it didn't get five stars is the stupid pads in front of the biceps.

    Comfortable

The pad is large and feels awkward at first but after a few minutes of riding it feels normal. Long and short rides are no problem. Fit is a bit tight but not bad.

    Very good jacket

As a new rider, I love this jacket so far. It feels super safe with the durable fabric and the armor pads in it give me a lot of peace of mind as well. It’s been 80+ every day I’ve worn it and as long as you open all the vents and keep moving it’s not a problem. I have yet to test it in the rain and cold. Fit great with a little room for a coat underneath. Good pocket size in the front and the pouch in the back for a water bladder is a life saver.

    Cheap cheap cheap,...

Received, couldn’t believe how lacking the padding was. Ended up returning and ordering a much more robust short. Look for alternatives

Cold Weather UTV Riding Gear

Cold weather and snow doesn’t stop your UTV from conquering the terrain, so why let it stop you? With cold weather riding gear from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC, it doesn’t have to. We carry everything you will need to keep the cold out and the warm in so that every ride can still be an enjoyable one, no matter the temperature outside.

Layering is the key when it comes to staying warm when it is cold outside. At Rocky Mountain, we don’t leave anything out, starting from the first layer to the last:

  • The Base Layer – Base layers play a huge role when it comes to body temperature regulation. They effectively wick away sweat and distribute it evenly across the fabric so that your body stays an ideal temperature, no matter the circumstances.

  • The Mid Layer – The mid layer generally provides extra warmth and comfort, or even doubles as a light jacket when you need an alternative to the heavy outer layer. Many times mid layers are made of fleece or similar fabrics to provide insulation against brisk temperatures.

  • The Outer Layer – The outer layer is solely designed to protect you from the elements. Thick, waterproof, breathable fabrics are designed to keep you dry and hold in the insulation provided by base and mid layers to keep your temperature regulation in the optimal ranges.

A good pair of cold weather socks and waterproof, insulated boots are also a must have. If your feet get cold, the rest of your body will follow. Depending on your activity, a pair of goggles and a good face mask could also make the difference between a good ride and a bad one.

When you still need a little extra something to keep you warm out in the cold air, heated riding gear is your best option. With everything from heated pants, jackets, gloves and even socks, there is no reason you should ever have to feel the biting chill out on the trail. When you make sure that you pair the heated gear up with the needed heated gear accessories, spending hours out in the cold will be no problem at all. Take a good look at our UTV cold weather gear and get what you need to be able to extend your riding season all year long!
