If you have a winch, this is a "must have". These snubbers keep the rope/wire rope snug when not in use. This helps keep the drum loops from loosening, and the hook from rattling (which also protects the fairlead rollers from nicks). I have one on all three of my winches and have never had a problem. While they will take a lot of abuse, they are not made to take repeated slamming of the hook into the fairleads without tempering the winching action. Also when doing a longer winch/pull it slides along and can make the rope/wire rope in sight.Read All Reviews

Installed winch and the solenoid worked intermittently, called Rocky Mtn. and let them know what was going on. They verified problem, which we all knew, and sent new solenoid out next day. Installation instructions are a little vague, could be a problem if you have never installed one before. Excellent customer service.Read All Reviews
