You can’t always have a hand free to hold up your bike. Whether you dismount to help a buddy get unstuck, stop to check out the sites, or just park for the night. The Trail Tech Kickstand is the quick and easy way to get a ton of convenience on your next adventure.

Trail Tech has put a lot of thought into their kickstand and it shows in the construction. The assembly is purpose built from three separate materials—a high-strength chromoly mounting bracket provides rigidity, a forged aluminum leg keeps weight down, and a reinforced high-impact nylon foot base disperses the weight. With these features built into a kickstand fitted for your exact model of bike, you’ll be well prepared in no time.

How much of a difference can a kickstand make? Find out for yourself with the Trail Tech Kickstand.

  • Includes mounting hardware and retainer spring
  • Replaces foot peg mount for solid attachment
  • Works with your stock or aftermarket foot pegs
  • High-strength chromoly mounting bracket

So glad I bought this

Comments On Oct 18, 2015:If you do any type of woods riding I would highly recommend this. I rode for quite a while without a kickstand and then by accident I notice Trail Tech made a kickstand for my bike. It isn't always convenient to find a tree to lean the bike up against. This installed very easy on my bike and has held up well so far.

Comments On Oct 12, 2015:Kick stand bolted on well and worked, first crash and the pedestal snapped right off.

Extremely useful

Comments On Aug 14, 2015:Bought this kickstand because I was tired of looking for a tree to lean my bike on when riding and not around my stand, and worrying that it might roll back or forward and fall over. This thing is extremely helpful. I haven't had a single problem with it yet, besides the fact that if the dirt/mud is too soft, the kickstand will sink. Sometimes I can sit on the bike while the kickstand is down depending on the slant of the terrain. The only thing I wish I could a stiffer spring for it because some of the jumps I hit will cause it to move a little. Other than that, awesome product! Must have for trail riders without kickstands.

Very convenient for an mx bike used on trails.

Comments On Aug 02, 2015:So far, I'm very happy with the kickstand. I only wish it was a tad bit shorter so it could be parked when the back tire is lower than the resting spot of the kickstand, or perhaps have an adjustment. I can't complain too much though. It's a lot better then pushing my bike to a tree ever time.

Excellent kickstand but doesn't fit the 2012 250sx

Comments On Jul 25, 2015:The Trailtech kickstand will not fit on the 2012 Ktm 250sx, even though they list it as fitting. I spoke with them directly when I couldn't figure out why I was having mounting problems. Apparently Ktm made some minor frame changes that weren't reported. Trailtech is now aware of the fitment issue. The alignment is off by 3 or 4 mm and can't be made to fit without machining modifications. There is the other aluminum brand kickstand that fits, but I've had durability issues with them.

costly loss

Comments On Jun 13, 2015:After only a few rides I had the stand fall off and its gone somewhere on the trail... If I bought another one I would wire tie the stand to the bike so next time I won't lose it... But I found one that will not do what this one has done.

Older KTM bikes...

Comments On May 15, 2015:If you have an older KTM (2000-2004 I think) then you have to remove that the stock kickstand bracket / chain guide (2 bolts). I read a past review where he complained about the stand sticking out and that is the reason (I made the same mistake at first).
I just installed it, so I can't give a good review yet. It mounts easy (if you do it right) and seems sturdy. It does stand the bike up a little too straight, but it works.

Wrong bolts - Broke after 1 year of little use

Comments On Jul 01, 2014:Only reason it gets an average review is that it came with the wrong bolts. They send you longer bolts to replace the existing ones on the frame but the bolts they sent were wrong. I had to go and find some bolts that would work. Aside from that the stand is very sturdy. I can stand on the pegs and kick on the bike as hard as I want without worrying the stand is going to give way.

Additional Comments On May 11, 2015:Came with the wrong bolts. Pivot bolt was ok but the other frame bolt was too short. Had to make a run to the hardware store to get one. I only rode the bike a few times over the year and went to work on the bike today and it fell over in my garage. The part where the pivot bolt holds the kick stand to the bike sheared off. For some reason that little part of the kickstand is threaded. If they would have just made the kickstand one solid piece I would still have a working kickstand.
