The wide variety of mounting options make the Acerbis Tri-Fit a perfect handguard for the versatile racer, allowing for quick and easy handguard customization depending on the conditions. Also a great choice for ATVs and adventure-touring bikes that have large controls that hinder the mounting of traditional handguards.
  • The new Tri-Fit handguard is a perfect fit for almost any application!
  • Handguards include inserts for aluminum bars, if using steel bars please use part #1302900001.
  • Made of Nylon, this innovative, multi-functional handguard kit allows 3 different configurations:
    1. Closed Wrap: Full wrap-around
    2. MX Open: Flag-style MX roost guard
    3. ATV: mounts to the end of the handlebar, leaving room for larger controls

Nice until they break
One tip over and they broke. As far as I know no replacement parts so $79.99 out the window. Back to aluminum guards like Enduro Engineering.

I really liked the hand guards. They held up well in the deserts of Arizona and even held up through a nasty crash that ripped a whole in my engine case so they are pretty sturdy. My only complaint is that the white isn't really white, its more of a blueish color.

Nice handguards
I like these handguards, although I had to modify slightly in order to get around the light switch.

Great Protection
I have had these on my bike for awhile now and couldn't be more satisfied. They take a lot of abuse and don't break. We do a lot of woods riding and I have had numerous crashes and they take it every time. When I purchased these I was a little reluctant because I didn't think they would offer enough protection and be durable enough, but now I'm glad I got them. Bit of a challenge to install only because of limited space on the bars.

Not impressed
I bought this product thinking that it would be a quick and easy instal on my 1995 cr125r. The flag part of the hand guards went on easily. After riding with just the flags I decided to instal the rim piece. When I tried to instal the bar end it just spun in the end of the bars and would not tighten. At this point I emailed Acerbis trying to figure out the problem and I never got a response back. To sum it up. The whole hand guard and wrap around is made out of plastic, these only work with aluminum handle bars, and they just feel cheep. I would not recommend these to anyone, and they would not take a hit into a tree and save your hand. Some advice, just buy the real bark busters if you want protection from trees and falling, and if you just want roost deflectors get some cheap flags.

Acerbis Tri-Fit
Love these. Small, not very bulky which is what i was looking for, just enough coverage to give you some protection from brush. These arent the strongest ive seen considering theyre hard plastic and not metal, but thats what i was looking for. They arent huge like some woods guy bark busters, maybe like 3 inches tall. Like the different mount options too, thats pretty slick. I dont see these taking very hard impacts, but if it happens these would be better than nothing

Flimsy and overpriced
Much weaker and more flexible than aluminum guards. Mounting options are nice, but over priced for what they are. Stick with cheaper, better, Tusk.

light wieght with just the right flex
I put these on my new to me 2003 KTM EXC before I really got her out on the trails. they have taken all the hard drops even on solid rock from the height of the front end being wheelied up and to the side.

The one miner issue I have is that the way I usually like my levers(brake side) I have some interference when pulling the brake hard. I have not noticed this while riding, I think because I would have so much brake for at the interference point that the front would diffidently lock up for indoor..

I would purchase these again.

Good Product
I put these guards on my Crf 450R. I rode Baja with these guards and woods races in GA. They look great are easy to install and are durable. I hit the ground in Baja and in GA racing and the guards have held up great. Going to buy another set for my wife's bike. Thanks Rocky Mountain MC

Will these fit a 2008 ds450x canam?
Patrick P on Jan 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They mount in 3 different ways and allow you to install on many different machines, myself, i installed them on my Yamaha Grizzly. The only thing i had to do was get a different size insert for the bars that i had. They should fit just fine, just double check the inside diameter of the bars, or you can call Acerbis directly to find out if there is another insert required for your application. Thanks, Jason
Are there replacement shields for the tri fits from acerbis?
Trey J on Oct 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We do not have replacement shields.
Can anyone tell me if these will mount onto my Fasst Flexx handlebars on my KX250f?
Joseph D on Feb 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes they will fit if you have aluminum bars. The piece that mounts in the end of the bar to support them is small and meant for aluminum bars not steel. They are very nice looking and work well I use mine on a quad.
