Nice handguards.
I like these handguards for my TW200. The aluminum brackets appear to be very strong. Charles Atlas wouldnt be able to bend these. The plastic guard covers look nice also. I had trouble getting the angle of the throttle side bracket to fit; however, the clutch side went right on like a custom fit. I had to move my front brake lever in so it wouldn't rub.

They're sweet
I've got 2 sets of these. One for my '01 KX125 and the other for my '08 KFX450r quad which utilizes the Tusk big bar adapter. I love these hand guards. Well made, durable and they look nice. Install is pretty straight forward. Just have to line everything up the way you want them just like any other hand guards,

I have not yet crashed with these on. I have on road time with them, they do help break the wind for hands. The look nice & feel very solid. Installed on factory steel bar. My first time installing a set of hand guards. about 2 hours spent getting throttle side correct. Clutch side required only two minor adjustment bends and was relatively easy. Stock bars make the clearances very tight and limit overall adjust-ability of the product. A wobble headed allen wrench is a must. The install was less than "challenging", but surely more so than just easy. A good amount of patience & repetition is recommended. Well worth the time and effort. I expect they will save my levers with a beginner rider in the house hold. Got some compliments today on the installed look. I'm happy with my purchase & the product.

Works great, just remember to use threadlocker on your bolts
Mine do their job, but are now both missing the bolt that hold the outermost part of the shield to the aluminum frame.

Broke first time the bike was dumped
With the swivel clamp, the installation was easier than other guards. But the way it is made, the joint is a weak spot and it broke the first time the bike was dumped. I've never broke other clamps with the three bikes we have in my family.

Performs its function well
It's impossible to never have your bike fall down, either riding it or stnding the bike or placing it on the trailer. Soon after I placed them, which was easy to do, it fell twice. No damage to the the levers or handle grips. I wish I had the when the bike fell off the trailer before I bought the. It cost more than the guards to fix it up. Well worth the cost.

Great value!
Broke the mount for my old Tusk bark-busters (poor ratchet-strap placement), and needed the brush guards, too. These fit the bill as an all-inclusive package at a great value. Install is super easy on Tusk CR-bend bars shortened 3/4 at each end. My last set (same handguards) lasted for years and many impacts. I expect the same from this set. Thanks again, Tusk!

Great value. Consider that you break them periodically and these are half the price of anything else on the market. That said, they cost less because they have made cuts to reduce costs. First the aluminum bar has a two-dimensional bend so it doesn't protect the lever ends with the drop bend. Second, the bar clamp uses a nut and bolt in lieu of threading the bolt into the bracket. That makes it difficult to install without three hands. I can live with that inconvenience but the bolts clamp from the top so they are impossible to Richard in certain positions if you have a Renthal cross brace bar. Third there is no arc in the bracket to allow the clutch cable to not have to bend at a bad angle. I used the bracket from my broken Acerbis unit on the clutch side - see photo

Nice, but kinda small
The install was ok, they have a difficult time making the proper angle around the handlebars and of course the hardware wants to end up at the hardest possible place to reach. Make sure you keep clearance on the throttle side to not bind up your throttle tube. Order the spoilers because these don't have a lot of knuckle coverage.

would these fit a klr 650 ?
A shopper on May 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Should fit as long as the bars are 7/8 will need the 1 1/8 mounts if you have 1 1/8 bars
Will these fit a 2007 WR450 with Pro Taper bars? The diameter of the handle bars is not constant so the clamp would have to be tapered to match the profile of the handle bars.
A shopper on Jan 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They will work with oversized bars if you order the big bar adaptor along with the guards.

are there triple clamp adapters for this?
A shopper on Nov 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No, we don't offer triple clamp adaptors for these handguards.
Are these sold as a set of 2 Left & right. I know it sounds like a dumb question but when you add it to your cart this is what it says???

Includes:
Tusk Aluminum Handguards Silver (1 per pkg.)
Mfg. #191104
Tusk D-Flex Replacement Plastic Handguard Shields Black (1 per pkg.)
TIM T on Nov 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes...comes with both sides...and all the hardware you need to install. Tough little buggers too, you can pretty much say goodbye to broken levers!
How many are in a package?
Joe B on Aug 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You can find this and other information about the handguards in the details section under the video

Package includes: 1-pair of Tusk Aluminum Handguards with 7/8" bar hardware and 1-pair of Tusk Plastic Handguard Shields. (Larger 1 1/8" clamps are sold separately)

So the answer is 1 pair...left and right.
How about a 17 wr250r?
A shopper on Oct 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They should fit if the bike has 7/8" bars, if not there are taper bar mounts available. Having said that, I have found that mounting handguards has always required a little tweaking to get them to fit correctly.
Will these fit a 98 KX60?
A shopper on May 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The hand guards seem to be made to fit multiple bike sizes. I bought them for a CRF 80F and found that the aluminum bars weee still A bit long for the bike. I cut the excess off with a hacksaw. Other than that, the guards fit well.
How much clearance (for brake/clutch lever) is there between the handlebar grip and the guard? Want to know if my levers will fit or if I'll need new ones. Thanx
Dave E on May 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They should fit, you will have to do a little bit of bending on the aluminum to get it to form to your bike they are all that way. So when you are putting some small bends in make the clearance what you want it to be, or slide the lever just a little. I just put these on a 2014 us with a little bend. They are great hand guards for the money.
Will these fit on a Suzuki DR650?
Shane W on Dec 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, they should. I put them on my DR 350 with no problem. You may need to adjust the position of your controls on the bars slightly. Also remember to trim your grip on the throttle side and check to be sure it doesn't stick.
will it fit my 2016 honda crf125f ?
keaton h on Mar 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The Tusk D-flex hand guards should fit on most all standard motorcycle handlebars. They have a degree of adjustment for length using the slot in the handguard body and by positioning the clps on the bars. The CRF bars are pretty bare. I have a set on a DR350 and they are very busy with controls..turn signals, mirrors etc
They fit great. Also had them on a small XR200 with no problems.
Will these fit on a CRF 80?
A shopper on May 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: From the end of the bar, where the slide into to the inside of the clamp that attaches the guard to the inner bars is about 12” . You will need 12” on each side of the bars for these to mount.
Will these fit on 2014 CRF 250l, dual sport?
Devin C on Apr 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It will fit any standard 7/8" bar, which the CRF250L has. The description says 'dirt bikes only', but I've had no problem running them on my dual sport KLX250s.
Will these fit renthal cr high bend bars?
Nathan L on Jul 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, they will fit. I really love these hand guards and have put them on several bikes now. I currently have them on Renthal bars on a wr250f and I’m going to put some soon in my crf450x
Is red, Honda red?
Liam s on Jul 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have these on my sons yz250f, I’m gonna say these are a little off from Honda red. They are a more vibrant red. I could be wrong, I have nothing to compare too.
Looking for something to fit my 2017 Cfr230f... I know they fit most 7/8” bars... but I’m wondering if there is enough room on my factory handle bars? Thank you
A shopper on May 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have put these handguards on everything from a KTM50 to a Yamaha 450. They are very adjustable and the great thing about Rocky Mountain is if they don't fit they will take them back. It is a win-win with Rocky Mountain.
Any idea if these would work on a versys 300? Someone is claiming they do online.
Matthew S on Apr 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I can't imagine that they would not work. These handguards are very adjustable . I have bought several pairs for several different bike and they were very easy to install. If for some reason they don't work out Rocky Mountain is the best by far company to take back parts that don't fit or work they way you think they should.
is the d flex logo a removable sticker?
A shopper on Mar 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It wears off after you wreck enough times. Go rip it up in your local gravel pit. You can tell that you are doing it right when your helmet matches your handgaurds.
I run my levers lower than most folks do. Will the bar mount still allow me to run them low or will the brake line clutch cable not allow it?
Bob P on Aug 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You will need to do little adjustments on all of the controls during installation to make them fit. I think that you can make the levers about as low as you want, it may cause the handguard to be a little low. I like the levers a little low as well and I was able to make it all fit comfortably.
Will these fit a 17 crf 110?
A shopper on May 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have not used them on a Honda bike. But they work awesome on our kx65's with protaper bars. We love the tusk d-flex handguards!
Will these fit a 2014 crf250l bike? With Pro Taper bars.
Louie H on May 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, they are universal.
Will these fit a 2014 Yamaha xt250 ?
paul a on Mar 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It's flexible and at most just needs slight bending. Make sure you have the correct handle bar diameter that fits this.
Looking for handguards for kids bikes, Yamaha 2008 TTR125E and Yamaha 2007 TTR50. Pretty sure these will fit the TTR125E but not sure about the TTR50. Anyone know if these will work on a TTR50?
Baron W on Mar 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I bought these for my wifes TTR125, and although the handlebar shape is different for the 50 I would assume that they would fit because of how versatile the mounting system is on these guards. And the part that inserts into the handle bar will fit the diameter of the handlebars on the 50. If they don't work for some reason, Rocky Mountain is always good about handling returns. Hope that helps.
Will they work on a stock 2008 Honda CRF100F?
A shopper on Sep 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: They should work. I installed on a 2015 CRF. They just require you to cut off the end of the hand grip and then possibly move around clamps if needed. I did not need to move anything but I am not sure where the clamps are on your handle bars. Very easy.
I bought a pair of these and they are great though Im thinking I need a bit more protection from the elements. Is there a bigger replacement handguard that will fit these?
Brent G on Aug 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have seen other d flex guards on other bikes. Worst case scenario I think you could just drill new hole sin the plastic
Would these fit my trx400ex?
Tyler C on Jan 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: For Dirt Bikes only.
will they fit 2015 DRZ 400 SM with stock rethnal tapered bars "fatbars" and if so how difficult to install?
Stephen A on Jun 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Will work but may need 1 1/8 mounting adapter for fat bars. Pretty simple install. Just make sure you cut away enough grip on throttle and move throttle away from bar end in case of crash throttle won't get stuck. I have put these on two of my sons bikes and they no longer break levers and they are holding up well
will they fit a 2015 DRZ 400 SM with rethnal tapered fatbars?
A shopper on Jun 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: these are for 7/8 bars. i put a pair on my yz250f with 1 1/8 bars and they work awesome. if yours are 1 1/8, you would have to buy the 1 1/8 adapter or do what i did and MAKE them fit on a 1 1/8. its a bit tricky to do but it can be done
Has anyone installed these on a set of 7/8" mini bars with success? My son's bike has set of 7/8" Renthal mini bars and looking for some nice metal reinforced hand guards.
John T on Apr 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have not tried this but it seems like they would be too long to work correctly with a set of mini bars. For small bikes, I have had great success with a set of moose racing mini aluminum guards combined with cyrca low profile shields.
What's the difference between the D-Flex and the D-Flex Pro?
A shopper on Sep 27, 2018
Tusk D-Flex Handguards
Tusk D-Flex Handguards
Tusk D-Flex Pro Handguards
Tusk D-Flex Pro Handguards
BEST ANSWER: The biggest differences would be that the design of the hand guards are different with a different shape in the plastics and the D-Flex Pros come with the option for 7/8" or 1 1/8" mounting hardware whereas the D-Flex comes with 7/8" mounting hardware with the 1 1/8" adapters available to be purchased separately.
