Good stuff!
This oil has one of the best ratings on holding its viscosity while hot, thats why I use it.

So far so good
I've only used this fluid on a couple of shocks and neither has had any issues. Since I haven't had these shocks apart again I don't know how the oil is holding up - that's the reason for only 4 stars.

Wow, not cheap. More like gold.
This is the stuff Scotts tells you to use in their steering damper. It works but it cost to much. Price is poor. Quality is good. I think this company knows their isn't a lot of choices for this very light weight oil and take advantage of that.

What is the weight on the very light compared to the ultra light?
James D on Nov 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Think like this -- the very light is comparable to 10w on the dyno; the ultra light is comparable to 5w.
However, the best distinction about this product is it has a much higher viscosity index than most others, sometimes double, so it is [less likely to fade; more likely to perform consistently] when compared to most other products. Hope that helps.
