Excellent Pegs stand the test of time

Comments On Aug 18, 2015:I put these on my 2007 Service Honda CR500AF build. Pegs lasted almost without wear until I just sold the bike in 2015. They were wider than stock, I never sharpened the spikes, they still looked like new. A+ and they will be going on my 2013 YZ 250 two smoker.

Great improvement over stock

Comments On Apr 27, 2015:Much better than the stock pegs. The wider platform is more comfortable for standing on the pegs and improves overall control of bike.

Honda TLR 200 Reflex

Comments On Apr 01, 2015:Bought these for my 1986 Honda TLR 200 Reflex, I had to order the kawisaki 650 KLX (they have the same style) LOVE them, so much way better than the tiny stock pegs. The only thing I had to do was install a nylon washer on the right side so you can pull the peg up out of the way of the kick start and it will stay in place while starting.

Comments On Dec 22, 2014:worth the money, nice and wide, really helps with riding fatigue when woods riding and you won't slip off the pegs. Buy 'em.

great footpegs, need some install instruction

Comments On Oct 12, 2014:I replaced my left footpeg on a 2005 KLR650, I'm 6'5" and 330 lbs and the stock peg was small and slick for my big feet. the right peg was already an IMS peg replaced by the PO.
I pulled the old peg in a few seconds by popping out the circlip and pulling the holder pin holding the peg.
the IMS footpeg comes with a torsion spring to hold the peg down and allow it to pivot up if you dump the bike.
there is a hook on the peg that looks like the L shaped leg of the spring hooks on. There is a U shaped part that hooks on the footpeg bracket, and an L shaped part that hooks on the peg itself.
I initially installed it with the U shaped part over the peg bracket, and the L shaped part of the spring in the groove where it looked like it was supposed to go. the footpeg was loose and wasn't springing back with authority like it should.
after looking at my other peg, I realized the L shaped part of the spring hooks right over the base of the footpeg, right next to the basket your boot sits on. Not on the little hook that has a groove where it appears it should go.
once I got the spring on straight, the peg was very solid, pivots easily and snaps right back with authority. it's broad and gives a good solid rest. I'd highly recommend them to replace the skinny slick stock pegs.

O.K pegs.

Comments On May 20, 2014:Had these on other bikes and they are OK but they were an interference with the kickstarter on the 650.

Excellent replacement pegs!

Comments On Dec 03, 2013:My stock peg was broken in the front corner, I chose these to replace them. They are far "grippier" than my stock ones and more comfortable with being wider. I did make a rookie mistake when installing these, not checking at home how your shift / rear brake levers are set up. With this peg being larger than my stock one, I wen't out on the track without thinking of making adjustments and was unable to get my boot under the shift lever properly.

Get rid of the stock pegs!

Comments On Sep 07, 2013:A must have to replace the dangerouse stock KLR pegs unless you want your boots to slip of the rubber.
