Better than expected
Having broken my ankle in multiple places I will try anything that will prevent months on crutches and keeping me fro riding again. These work great and do not notice them at all until you need them

Best footpegs ever.
Best footpegs ever. Saves your ankles big time. You can feel a huge difference when landing jumps and going over whoops. If have 2 plates and 4 screws in my ankle. Since then I've put these on every bike I've had and will continue with every bike I get in the future. Only complaint is the color wears off them pretty easy but they still get the job done.

Great at preventing hyperextension of ankle when overjumping/casing
I have messed up both ankles a couple of times from accidentally overjumping big tables on MX tracks. On super hard landings when standing on the balls of your feet, they stop your heels from being forced too far down. I've had these Fastway EXT pegs on my CRF450 for 5 years, and I just moved them over to my 18 YZ450F. In 6 years, zero issues with hyper-extension (dorsi-flexion) of my ankles. I NEVER even notice they are there. I personally don't notice them when leaning back in whoops as mentioned in the description, but I do see a little bit of wear on the screws on the first row of heel piece, so I must be touching them at times. I wore the first set of screws out after a couple of years so I switched to the longer screws that also came with them. I HATED to spend that much money on footpegs, but I would definitely have bought them again if the same set hadn't fit my new bike.

Plantarfasciitis help through foot Peg.
As an old man. I have plantar fasciitis and need support so I can ride more often. There's nothing like catching a jump or a whoop and tearing your ankle up for no good reason. It's just a little help right after the split second that you need it and she's always there. In my humble opinion they could have made the whole thing a little wider like they do for their touring and the rear angle pivot could be up jealous would be better for me.

They fit good. Look good.
Fully adjustable , clear height as well as peg height and camber.
Used the short cleats and mounted in low position made a big difference in comfort for my long legs.

Fastway air Ext Pegs money well spent
Due to having a bad ankle these pegs are major ankle savers and are very comfortable. They keep your feet plated nicely. Highly recommend these.

LOVE these
I was skeptical, but with my back and neck (three level cervical fusion), two knee replacements, neuropathy in my left leg/foot, etc etc... they save me and help a lot. And yes, I ride advanced off-road terrain, technical sections, woods, desert, and even fire roads. These are really great for your lower back when riding whoops in the desert. Very stabilizing! Love them.

Best rider upgrade available
Best investment I've made to date. The only issue I had, is they didn't come with all the parts I needed to install them. I had to buy a "fit kit" directly from PMB, to make them work on my 2001 YZ250. With the camber adjustment screws, riding standing up is almost effortless. It forces you to squeeze the tank, and gives much better feel and control. I hated spending the money, but I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Saved me so many times when I have overshot jumps. Not to mention best all around traction in a peg I have found. Great for leaning back and still having a platform to stand on.

Wow. Worth the money!
I may just be a sucker for billet aluminum parts but they are a work of art. I also have the Rack It rack on my DR650 and they both are awesome. Finish is impeccable and Rocky Mtn got them to me fast and cheaper than anyone else. Thank you for a great product Fastway and cheers to you Rocky Mtn.

Do these footpegs come with the Fastway fit kit or does that need to be purchased separately?
Eric W on Feb 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The footpeg kit comes with all the parts needed to mount them. I purchased them to help me work on riding on the balls of my feet - I've been racing MX for almost 50 years, and one of my bad habits is that I ride with the mid part of my foot on the pegs - these have been helpful in learning to place the front of my foot on the pegs. Highly recommended, and no complaints. FYI, I am fairly small - five foot six, size 8 boot, and 140 pounds.
are these used for doing freestyle ?
A shopper on Jan 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No , the foot peg is a little wider than stock to give you better support and grip and the extension off the back is to support your ankle in the event of a hard landing or hit so you don’t hyperextended and or break your ankle.
Where do I purchase replacement cleats?
Chris F on Apr 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They come with a lot of extra cleats and an assortment of different sizes. When you finally need replacements I'm sure you can order them from fastway or find replacements online.
How much lower do these go than stock? I have long legs and I’m trying to make more room. I have an 06 crf450r.
Joe K on Feb 1, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We run them and they are awesome. You will gain about 1/2 inch down and 1/4 inch back if you install in lowboy position. Provides a good foundation when you are back on your bike. You can set the cleats long or short...personal preference.
Can I adjust up and down and back and forth?
A shopper on Jun 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Up & Down (does move back some). You can either put them in stock height or low boy position gaining about an 1/2 inch lower. This can be done by inserting the insert either on top for low boy or bottom for stock position.
It says above that on KX450F these footpegs must be mounted in raised position, is that meaning that the actual mount on the Kawi is in the raised position or that you cannot run these on the ‘low boy’ position on KX450F?
Mahli W on Feb 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Not sure about the newer Kawi but i had the steel Anklesavers mounted in the lower position on my 2012 kx450. I am running the newer aluminum set on my FC450 Husky now.
I purchased a pair of these Air ext. pegs. They are great, all around product. When purchasing it said they fitted my 2006 cr 250, which they do. My biggest issue that I can't belive I'm not hearing anywhere is that my Kickstarter smashes the ext (angel savers) The cleats on the end are completely smashed after a couple rides and could bearly remove them with a pair of pliers because the Allen is smashed. I need ro replace the cleats before it damages the pegs them selves which I paid good money for. And it is also tearing my kick starter all up. Am I the only one with this problem?? And is there anyway to resolve this?
A shopper on Oct 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi there, i have the same issue on mine but this is what you can do, you can add a piece of rubber hose and slide in the kick starter to protect both, you might have to replace the hose often as it will tier, also using the smaller cleats at the ends will help a lot. Take in consideration that both will help but not eliminate the problem, one thing i can tell you is this, i had a broken ankle early this current year and after that is that i purchase the pegs, even if you have to buy two a year is way more cheaper than the broken ankle, i also learn after been using them for almost a year that my right boot end is really damaged which is the ankle i got broken meaning that for some reason i keep my right foot moving a lot assuming that is for the braking action and it means that the pegs really works, i will never use any other time of pegs even if i have to buy them twice a year still cheaper. Hope it helps.
Will these fastway ankle savers fit a Suzuki rm-z 450, 2007?

Will these pegs fit on a 2016 kx 250f? It seems like the Kickstarter will hit the pegs.

We currently run them on my grandsons KTM. He now has a TM Racing 100 and look like they will fit. Anybody out there running them on their TM's and do they fit?

He loves the pegs and wants the same set up on his TM.

BEST ANSWER: Sorry i cant answer the bike swap question but i would like to tell you i have them on my yz 450 and i love them. They have saved my ankles from being injured many times. One of my best bike investments ever!
